This is a strange question. I sold a Lego set on eBay Australia to a person in Portugal. But when completing the customs declaration form, I learned that Portugal has "Plastics and articles thereof" listed on the list of prohibited articles to be imported (Section VII, Chapter 39 Heading 39.01-39.26)!

With plastics contained in many articles, I am surprised about this prohibition. Has anyone from outside the EU posted Lego sets to Portugal without issues and/or has anyone in Portugal had problems receiving Lego sets from outside the EU due to this?

I am a bit reluctant to post the set before I learn more about this issue.
Thanks, Peter

It looks to me like it says articles admitted unconditionally, that is, not prohibited at all. But I'm not a lawyer, so I could be reading it wrong.

Thank you for your replies and explanations. I didn't read it properly. But On the Australia post website, it only shows "Plastics and articles thereof" as prohibitions. The picture I attached to my original listing is from the Portuguese Post and the prohibition I assume is actually only for certain rubber articles and the rubber restriction is under "Plastics and articles thereof ... "! So no issue then to post Lego to Portugal. Cheers, Peter
