How do you display 10313 Wildflower Bouquet?

Hi everyone,

My wife and I bought 10313 Wildflower Bouquet for my mom for Mother's Day. My daughter and I put it together a couple days ago, and we bought a vase for it, but it doesn't seem to sit 'right.' The flowers want to turn and lean at funny angles. I'm not sure if we need a narrower vase, or if we should put aquarium-style rocks in the bottom to hold everything in place. 

Anyone have ideas on how to make it look nice?

I put some glass aquarium filler in a vase to hold the stems steady.

I use many smaller LEGO elements.

However be warned, while it can look absolutely fantastic, it is possible for it to look hideous.

I found that vases with a narrower top work better. Keeps them standing and forces them to stay together more.

Tall and thin is what you want. In the Lego store they filled a vase with transparent clear and light blue 1x1 round plates which looked pretty cool too.

Hi, thanks for all the replies. It was a really full week, so I apologize for not getting back to this sooner. 

We went with a clear vase with a pretty wide base - we wanted something sturdy so that it was less likely to get knocked over. My wife and my daughter put in clear glass aquarium beads, and it looked really good when they were done.

I used some oasis - i.e. the stuff you would normally put into vases of real flowers :D Worked a treat.

(No good with a clear vase of course)

Oasis - the green foam blocks?

That could work with a different vase. (ours was clear.)

Thanks for the idea - my mom really liked these, so we're buying her another set for Christmas.

Yep, exactly that. The same kind of stuff you would use with an artificial flower arrangement.

Can get 'into' the pieces though, not recommended to get it into the underside of a brick for instance  - but it's fine for the stems/technic axles in these sets.
