Here's a few pics of some of my Blue coats and Red coats this is the start to my army, they are mainly all out of order and not yet tied to a regiment if you look at the cutlass soldiers they are all out of order but I am going to work on these and get them into units.

Also my commanders look a bit confused thats why they have alot of personal guard behind them.

I think I have got something to work with here let me know what you think I will keep posting my pics as they get into order ready to defeat any invading pirates garrrrrr

:pir-classic:

Sorry just struggling reducing my images haha I will get used to it eventually with a bit of trial and error :pir_bawling:

Hi Captain Peg Leg

Yeah I think I have too many generals and officers they would probably end up fighting each other....

I currently ue PIXresizer .when I upload pics whats the best size to attach?

:pir-classic:

I have sent you a PM, the best size is no wider than 800 wide, i would suggest 650, this is big enough for us to see in detail and small enough that download time is not huge.

May i also ask how you got so many soldiers! was it luck of local sales or ebay?

Nice army you've got there . I really enjoy seeing great armies like this.

I'm also building an army, but it isn't going that fast. I have only 19 Imperial Guards, 25 Imperial Soldiers, +11 red/white and 10 blue/white striped "pirates" to serve the low-ranks (so only 65 total, with 21 of them not even being real imperials :pir-sceptic:).

I have a fairly puny army of both red and blue coats. So pun in fact that I have been considering selling them. I think I have around 12-15 of each and an "admiral" for each. I'm not sure how much that would fetch though.

Yeah it takes time to build up an army and lots of money!! I didnt stumble across this lot I bought them in groups, off ebay and I had to pay alot for them not sure why they always go for so much..I have got about 20 more that need sorting out mixed redcoats and blue coats I have about 200 in total.

I am going to sort out my pirate army as well, with my native army.

Maybe I will make a lego island hehe I wish!!!! :pir-classic:

That's quite a start! Good luck completing your mighty army...

Sometimes when I look at all those armies on Brickshelf, belonging to different people, I wonder how many bluecoats and redcoats have been made by Lego in total? :pir-classic:

Hi Dreamweb yeah god I would hate to guess how many have been made I would hazard a guess at a few million anybody else warrent a guess at how many red and blue coats were made by Lego? :pir-classic:

haha yeah no what you mean how long you been collecting matey?

I'm not sure how big I want to build my army doubt it will ever be as big or as impressive as Bonapartes he's got some great armies!!

I started up thinking I was going to do a massive scene in the loft with an armada of ships(so far only have 5 :pir-cry_sad: ) and build a big island with a beach, jungle and Aztec buildings(keep dreaming)

I have got loads of parts that Ihave been buying but just havent got round to doing anything yet..... :pir-classic:

Blimey that's a lot of smilies, Captain Webb.

But anyways, that's an impressive start! I've started mine and it's way better then ours or anyones!

7 people! HA! IN YOUR FACE! :pir-tongue:

I've started my army with decals made by sir Dano.

So they are the Crown Imperials! The toughest of them all. I'e enough swords, but only 2 pistols for them. Oh well, the have an entrance to Port Royal and a 10 gun ship. The pirates are doomed!

Wow, major smiley and off-topic alert. Time for a chat in private Captain Webb!

Now on the subject, I'm really happy to see another army builder in the Pirate forum. And this is a very decent start Black Beard! Adding some regimental flags is one thing you can do to improve the army. And I would start forming some regiments. Keep collecting! And remember, if you ever get tired of Lego and want to sell these fine troop, you know where to find me :pir-sweet:
