Presenting my newest moc/alt build, monkie kids ultra mech /monkie kids evo mech

(yeah I couldn’t find a good name for the mech)

This is an alternative build of set 80030, monkie kids staff creations, inspired by one of the inspiration models, of a flying mech, I wanted a bit of something from each of the three main models, so this was the result

I’m not proud of the torso, but had to work with what I had

Tires at the back represent the car, and are used as thrusters

wings fold up as well, anime style (with optimal turbine removal

Speaking of wings, they can be detached, and connected to the modular system of 80030

I also made a larger staff, too

Jay, autumn, and a na’vi for scale

Looks slick, especially for an alt build. The only issue I could see would be the 1x2 hinge plates that fold inwards on the back of the mech for the wings, I’m gonna take a guess and say they’re not particularly stable? That 2 stud clutch has never worked for me with those parts. I love the angled torso design, and the tyres for thrusters and the folding wings are pure creativity! Love this little mech.

Thanks! In regards to the stability of the wings, they’re pretty sturdy and won’t fall off.

Great alternate build! Really impressed with how you've used those new hinge-y bricks to close up the sides of the mech around the minifigure.

Thanks! I was actually worried it would look terrible and ruin the mech, but I guess not
