For me making Technic Trains started with borrowing several techniques from 2in1 and his 42102 Steam train. while creating a simple 42116 alt build. This led to making 5 mini-trains out of the 2020+ $10 sets that you can see below: I'm really curious to see if anyone else has done some too. The ones I'm currently aware of are Technic Train Man's creations, Tomik's one from 42106, MK constructor's double 42063 440 locomotive.
