[MOC] Missed Space Faction Contest Entry

Hello to all in the midst of their Feb chilling and building. I just wanted to share my faction creations that I ran out of time with back in Aug - Sept 2022. The contest was really neat and tasked contestants to create 2 factions from almost any theme that would compete or fight against each other. 

I ran out of time to post, but you can see the fun I had with old Explorien, Spyrius (the robotic heads) and newer Nexo knight parts. I love the contrast of purple, white, and the newer shade or orange, plus trans light green and dark blue. The baseplates are actually from the Aquasharks theme and the Scorptron torsos from the latest SW Republic tank set. A real mash of themes here.

I suppose the faction story I was going here is pretty traditional in Lego space lore: an invader force, the Scorptrons detected a desirable mineral resource on the Ox-tron planet and seek to harvest it. The usually peaceful, cybernetic Ox-tron faction reacts with hostility against Scorptron's invasion and harvesting. While the Ox-tronians are mostly a land based forced and not very quick, their bio mechanical bodies are powerful and fearsome. Scorptron forces, with smaller vehicles, mechs, and isolated outposts are unprepared for  what they unleashed! Agility and clever tactics are their only defense on the Ox-tron planet! :0 Let me know your thoughts or comments. I probably won't revisit this theme any time soon, except to make some digital artwork.

Nice color schemes!

I always knew yellow & trans blue looked pretty good. But white & trans-neon green? That also looks good! I never knew... Looks nice with the purple as well.

Thanks Danth and A Forest of Lego for checking out my models! The colors and designs were a lot of fun to play with, but the models were rushed and I had very limited parts with me at the time.
