And now for something different and fun.

Some of you may already know about the director and designer for the Lightyear movie being a Lego Space fan, and that he designed his spaceships to have yellow windscreens because he loves Classic Space. Because of this hero, we now have the yellow windscreen that is used in the upcoming Blacktron GWP set.

The question is, how many other heroes are out there, working on the inside, trying to get us more windscreens?

Well, I couldn't help but to notice things in multiple other Sci Fi movies. Back when I watched Dune in the theater, this popped out at me:

What is this? Another yellow windscreen? Was a secret hero trying to get us this or this piece in trans yellow?

But that's not all. When watching Avatar, I noticed this:

Wait, is that a yellow windscreen? I can't find a better screenshot, but yes, it's a big yellow windscreen on a new vehicle called the Seawasp!

Obviously we didn't get any Dune Lego sets, and we didn't get the Avatar Seawasp in Lego form. But that doesn't mean we don't have people on the inside, a league of secret heroes, infiltrating the highest levels of movie concept design, trying to get us cool new Lego pieces!

And I thank these brave heroes for their efforts!

Interesting theory. The question for me is not If they are secrets fans, the question is  "why not being one" Classic space has many cool designs which can be used on Sci fi environments.

Here is a Sea wasp better resolutuion link and the cannopy looks similar to Buzz's spaceship.   https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/jamescameronsavatar/images/a/a8/Seawasp_mcfarlane.jpg/revision/latest/scale-to-width-down/1000?cb=20221019005302

So not to be spoilery, but I've seen some movies lately, and...they had spaceships. And the spaceships did not have colored windscreens.

But we got Lego sets for those spaceships. And the Lego sets did have colored windscreens. Very nice colored windscreens.

I don't know what happened here. But I want to thank whatever hero is responsible.
