GWP this holiday...?

Hi all,

I'm in Canada, and for those with better understanding of LEGO sales patterns, will LEGO be offering any reasonable GWP over the next month or so? I'm wondering if I should hold off ordering gifts (to wait for the GWP) or just bite the bullet from Amazon or ToysRUs, etc...

Double VIP points Promo this coming weekend as well as rumored early release for VIP members of some GWP's including an Elf one.  Same rumored GWP's for Black Friday weekend.  Rumored minimum spend for the Elf one is $170.

LEGO has them listed for VIP weekend. $250 it's the LEGO House Tribute. $170 is the Elves. $65 is cookie cutters. 2400 points gets you the Toys R Us Dragon ride.

Besides the GWPs (all insanely high priced), LEGO is offering various discounts on certain 18+ sets. I think the discounts are there to entice people to buy these overpriced and not well marketed sets.

I received an email from Lego today indicating 5X VIP points starting today for select models in-store only.  Any ideas about what those models might be?  I don't want to drive 90 minutes to find out.

If you go to the VIP Black Friday Deals page on the website it lists the 8 eligible sets.
