For a competition my LUG is holding we had to recreate a better version of Lego set 60335 with 1000 pieces or less.

This is what I came up with:

This is a very nice station!!!

<1000 pieces, but still (or better because of that!) a really nice station.

Hopefully the folks over at Train Tech get a glimpse of your fantastic model!

Thanks Thorsten! Yes the piece restriction (combined with my own need for nifty details) did get to me in the end.

Yes I was wondering wether to post it there or here but since I'm actually not much of a train head yet (and there is no rails) I decided to post it here.

:pir-blush: To be fair @LEGO Train 12 Volts, I was just too lazy to remove the plates underneath or I would’ve done just that to gain some extra pieces give the roof some finishing touches. I do agree this looks a lot smarter ‘though, thanks for your comment!
