S@H is giving away SW magnet sets when you purchase the larger 10000 sets by the look of it.

How very generous of them, definitely makes up for the $300+ price discrepancy between our store and the US one. Probably wouldn't be too bad if they were sent from an australian distributor, but having to pay for shipping from Denmark on top of the ridiculous prices really hurts :(

Hay Darkness, you can pick up the minifig cases @ Toys r us for $30 for tha 16 fig case and $15 for the 8 fig case. I was @ Big W and saw the last one on the shelf for $20 for the 16 fig case, $10 cheaper than Toys R us mark up. If I knew earlyer that they where @W Big W for a 2/3 of the price I would have go them there. I would get in as fast as you can as stock is very limited. I picked up a 16 and 8 fig case in black but thats all they had left in black otherwise I would have bought more. Im hoping these will be popular and will return next year like the minifig sort and store head.

Have to agree with woka on this one. I just picked up another 2 large cases (both yellow) for my kids today from BigW Campbelltown. They had 1 Black left as well as a red and one other yellow. If you want them, get in fast and get the from Big W. Even with TRUs 20% off sale, they are WAAYYY overpriced there.

I already have a Black one of my own and think they are awesome. The figs are sealed in behind the clear plastic front (which unlocks at the press of a button). Perfect for keeping the CMF in dust free storage.

Has anyone else found them @ any other retailer?
Other than Big W and TRU I haven't seen these anywhere else. The only other place I've really checked out is Target, and they don't have any.

By the way, my local TRU (Campbelltown) has a stack of the sorting heads available. Didn't get a price since I'm not interested in them, sorry.

I went into Toys R US Belconnen this morning to pick up a big bucket of bricks at a discount as my 3 year old is just starting to get into building his own stuff, and the shelves were absolutely jam-packed + they had a second huge row of Lego near the front entrance apart from the usual section.

All the Toys R US exclusives were there in force so they are obviously geared up for the sale. A good time to pick up some of the more ridculously-priced Star Wars exclusives at a reduced price...

This is the same as Adelaide CBD.

They even had a couple 6212 X-wings that won't be around much longer with the new one out early next year. So if you've always wanted one, I don't think you'll be able to do better than the $56 you can currently grab one for.

Toy sale at Myer starting Thursday, 15 September.

LEGO is on the last page of the above catalogue. Doesn't appear to be a % sale, just specific prices on certain sets.

3677 Red Cargo Train is $235 down from $295, which is basically the same 20% off it was last Saturday.

Others:

Technic Flat Bed Truck $127 down from $159.

Alien Mothership $79 down from $99.

Alien Conquest $39.95 down from $49.95.

Ninjago Fire Temple $159 down from $199. (DON'T buy this if you have access to a Big W - it's $144 there every day.)

Star Wars Ewok Attack $39.95 down from $49.95.

Star Wars Podracers $119 down from $149.

City Marina $63.95 down from $79.95.

City Train Station $63.95 down from $79.95.

City Power Boat & Police Boat both $39.95 down from $49.95.

No mention of an extra 10% for MyerOne cardholders... yet.

I just got an email from Myer saying they are giving the extra 10% off to Myer One card holders.

"As a valued MYER one Member, you'll receive an additional 10% off already reduced toys, books, CDs, DVDs and appliances from our current mytoys catalogue.

Simply present your MYER one Card from Thursday 15 until Sunday 18 September 2011 in store or visit online at gifts.myer.com.au and enter the promotional code 'TOYSEP' when you check out."

One word should suffice:

There's also something not on the list: the Brickmaster City and Brickmaster Ninjago books at $31.95 (minus a further 10% = $28.76) down from $39.95, on page 17 of the catalogue.

That is one thing TRU is good for: ample stock of almost all current sets. So when a 20% sale comes on, you can be pretty sure of getting what you were waiting for (though I suppose it probably still helps to go at the beginning).

Don't suppose they'd dug up more caches of the older Collectable Minifigs? (Series 2 was floating around during their last sale.)

I only saw series 5 going for $4 before discount, but didn't look too closely.

City of Atlantis was still $89 when I popped by Kmart this afternoon, but the little Hero Factory 2.0 sets had dropped to $6 (from the previous $10). I picked up a few and I can see how kids like these things. Personally I'm happy I didn't pay any more for them.

The figs are sealed in behind the clear plastic front (which unlocks at the press of a button).

I didn't realise there was a button until after I had pried the lid up by force. I'm happy to say it survived my harsh treatment

Myer has the City of Atlantis for $79 as of this afternoon!

Check your local Myer's as it may have been in Warringah Mall only.

My local TRU had plenty of Series 3 and Series 4 figs left.....no sign of Series 5 though.

Yeah I did that too  I then went back and read the text on the packaging.

7985 City of Atlantis for $68,

I was just at TRU innaloo Perth and they had series 5 minifigures!

The minifigures were $4.99 with a 20% discount which made them cheaper than you could get them from overseas including postage.

I'm not sure which overseas sources you're referring to, but I got two boxes from Magic Magnus (sounds dodgy, doesn't it) for $282.24, including postage, which turns out to be a little over $2.35 per minifig.

I bought mine from Amazon.fr for about $120 or so per box. I saw Season 4 minifigs at K-Mart for $6!

I wonder if it comes with the child Han ninifig. I have seen pictures of the DVD with no minifig. If it comes with the minifig I will buy it otherwise I have already downloaded it and watched it. Still would be cool to have the other SW Lego mini movies.

Big W catalogue says minifig is their exclusive. Jbs don't show the figure in their advertising so go to Big W.
