Mattallica Posted October 20, 2022 Posted October 20, 2022 ... recently up the price of vip rewards cost? $100 reward is now 13000 points Quote
Feuer Zug Posted October 20, 2022 Posted October 20, 2022 The $100 reward has been at 13,000 points ever since they went to the new calculation. I do miss being able to buy LEGO in one nation and redeem the VIP points in another for enhanced point power. Alas, it all came about because I got a few extra pounds/Euros off by "gaming" the points system by doing it maybe three times in total. Quote

What did they expect with the Pound to Euro exchange rate. When I moved to the continent, my rewards points racked up quickly. Every time I returned to Newcastle via ferry, I managed to snag a few sets on my points and about empty my balance. As said, I didn't do it much, but I know a few people that bought sets by the pallet that did. Quote

A decade ago it was $100 = £65, so a £65 purchase there could get you £5 off here. So about 7.5% instead of 5%. Even better if they had double VIP when traveling. Quote
