doug72 Posted October 12, 2022 Posted October 12, 2022 Which way round do linking moduels run at GBC exibition layouts i.e Clockwise or anti clockwise ? Need this to ensure a 90 Deg corner turn module I am building is in the correct direction. Quote
Berthil Posted October 12, 2022 Posted October 12, 2022 Always anti clockwise, left to right viewing as visitor, right to left as exhibitor behind the modules. Quote
1980SomethingSpaceGuy Posted October 12, 2022 Posted October 12, 2022 Yes, usually anti clockwise as seen from above. But if you're building a dedicated corner module, it could be interesting for it to be able to do both sides... Quote

To make a right turn it would require the train reverser to be modyfied to release the train cart t to the right, I did make RH version some time ago. Quote
dr_spock Posted October 12, 2022 Posted October 12, 2022 The GBC standard is input on the left and output on the right. It is only important if you want your module to function with other people's modules at shows and events. If you're doing your own thing, then it is whatever you chose. It looks ok assuming your "In Box 2" is really the Out Box. Quote

For my set up the balls just roll down into collection box and are returned to in box1 by hand and as the train car returns to the lift it starts the next lift cycle to load next batch of balls. 1980SomethingSpaceGuy Posted October 13, 2022 Posted October 13, 2022 Yes, looks right! ...and I now get why you can't have both sides easily available with that setup Quote
