I am not sure why no one has commented on this MOC, but I'll go ahead and say it's very cool! I am not familiar with the real source material, but I can Republic ARC-170 vibes especially in the nose area to middle area.  The rear landing gear looks a little strange at those angles, but I understand those were the attachment points with the wings. What is behind the storage doors, or is that how the pilots enter/exit?

The F-101 Voodoo is/was a Cold War USAF and RCAF fighter jet. So the OP has reimagined that as a Rebel fighter, essentially. Nice!

I apologize for not responding - I forgot I had even posted this. The storage doors are just for entry.

@LordsofMedieval Thanks for sharing your MOC! Everything looks great, from the nose to the tail design. And even better, you've reimagined a classic warplane without my brain wanting to explode, à la https://www.flickr.com/photos/96562987@N03/52166124345

@Brickshipyard Re: Landing Gear - Is space metal heavier than aircraft aluminum..? Wide-body aircraft sometimes have rear landing gear retract and rest at an angle. (Out-toeing on a Boeing haha)
