Alex Ilea Posted September 14, 2022 Posted September 14, 2022 Hi! I am happy to present you my newest build and my first B model of a set, the Ferrari Roma: It is built entirely with the parts from the Daytona set, which was a nice challenge I must say. The features are as following: 8 speed sequential gearbox, suspension all around, opening hood, doors and trunk, working steering wheel, V8 engine. I have made some comparison photos with a Daytona that I borrowed from one of my friends, so here they are: Also the youtube video: I really like how they are so different, while being the same brand. Of course, because of the parts limitation I couldn't achieve the exact looks of the original car but I reckon I did a great representation of it. This model has been superb learning experience for me, being limited makes you think outside the box and to come up with interesting solutions. If anyone is interested in building this car, it is available on rebrickable: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-123054/Alex Ilea/ferrari-roma-42143-b-model/#details Thank you! Alex Quote
Jurss Posted September 14, 2022 Posted September 14, 2022 Pretty OK, but somehow seems too flat for Roma. For official B model would be OK :D Quote
