The perfect amount to represent the subject material, without going overboard. Good job looks like it was a fun build for you. One thing I think could make it a little better visually, move the big tree to the left side and move the moon and Elliot to the right side but that is probably just personal tastes. I just think the focus of the build is ET and Elliot and moving them more towards the center looks better. This probably looks closer to the movie poster though, so that was probably your goal.
