SirNadroj Posted June 29, 2008 Posted June 29, 2008 Here's M-O, the adorable, germaphobic bot from Disney/Pixar's Wall-E. Here's a video from the film of M-O in action (possible spoilers: http://youtube.com/watch?v=TCQxbx30TI0) Your thoughts and comments welcome! Quote

Lt. Col. Thok Posted June 30, 2008 Posted June 30, 2008 Nice! What's the red block on top of him? Quote
SirNadroj Posted June 30, 2008 Author Posted June 30, 2008 Thanks very much! Nice! What's the red block on top of him? Thanks ~ that's the siren. Here's a video slideshow with some music from the soundtrack: http://www.flickr.com/photos/sirnadroj/2624698491/ Quote
Zepher Posted June 30, 2008 Posted June 30, 2008 Looks awesome! Can't wait to go see the movie. Maybe you could of built it on a smaller scale. How exactly did you chose that size? Quote
Sir Dillon Posted June 30, 2008 Posted June 30, 2008 Nice job with this Jordan, I think you've really nailed the look. The trans thing on the back looks a bit odd to me, but I haven't seen the movie yet, so can't really complain. Quote
Scouty Posted June 30, 2008 Posted June 30, 2008 Heh, M-O was a cool character in the film! I think you pictured this crazed robot perfectly! Quote
Oky Posted June 30, 2008 Posted June 30, 2008 Very nice! I wanted to make one of those too, and that's pretty much how I would have done it! We'll see how mine will turn out. If I may express some criticism, I would say it's not one of you're best works as it has some flaws. I think you may have overdone the SNOT part of it since there are a lot of holes and cracks. Also, the disinfectant dispension backpack has open sides etc. Still good job though! Quote
Stony Posted July 2, 2008 Posted July 2, 2008 (edited) I loved this guy in the movie and you made him perfectly! But shouldn't his eyes photoreceptors be red, not yellow? I thought they were red at least. What's next, "Eve" or "Wall-E"?(Quotation marks are fun ) Edited July 2, 2008 by Stony Quote
lego.ryan Posted July 2, 2008 Posted July 2, 2008 Haven't seen the movie yet, but it looks excellent! And this is an excellent creation, it's very smooth, just as a robot should be. And your photography skills are wonderful, too! -Ryan Quote
