Nachapon Lego Posted July 15, 2022 Posted July 15, 2022 (edited) HI, This is my first post on the historic theme. I didn't play castle theme much, but this week I made a castle project and two contest entries on Lego ideas. Then I think here is a good place to share my work. If you like my projects please support them on Lego ideas. Thank you very much! LEGO Vertical Wall-mount Chess 3 in 1 (64 minifig display frame)If you like it, please support (vote) this project at Lego ideas URL: http://bit.ly/legoideaschess Thank you very much in advance!3 IN 1 Vertical Wall-mount Chessboard / Standard Tabletop Chessboard / 64 minifig display frameEmpty chessboard only.Minifigures shown are for usage demo, NOT included.(Lego ideas guidelines, not allow too many minifigures in a project)You can add minifigures of your own or brick-build all the 32 chess pieces.I will update the brick-build chess pieces later. This beautiful Lego chessboard hangs on the wall like art or a picture frame, but it is designed to play a casual game of chess. As you pass by, make your move, mark the "Last Move" by raising both hands of that minifigure, and go on your way. Later your opponent stops by, makes their move and the game continues. You can also use Lego parts in this set to rebuild it to a typical tabletop chess board. The chessboards showed the "Queen's Gambit". It is one of the oldest openings and is still commonly played today. It is traditionally described as a gambit because White appears to sacrifice the c-pawn; however, this could be considered a misnomer as Black cannot retain the pawn without incurring a disadvantage.I have to exclude minifigures to make this project get approval. (see Lego ideas guidelines rules)Please come back again. I will keep adding many new images in the updates and comment section. Please support my other project: ”Triple Decker Six Flipper Pinball” here http://bit.ly/legopin if you like it. Thank you very much! Lego Nano Chess is my entry for Lego ideas contest - 90th anniversary: micro-scale celebrations! It is built with only 33 Lego bricks. Which set a new world record for the fewest Lego pieces used to build a 3D chess set that will never be broken. :D Edited July 15, 2022 by Nachapon Lego Quote
