lego.ryan Posted June 29, 2008 Posted June 29, 2008 Vig. 14a A revisited creation, showing Elizabeth stabbing two of Davy Jones' crewmen on the plague island Isla Cruces. Since I've made a previous version, I'll post both the old one and then pictures of the new one. Tell me what you think! And try not to notice the hack job on Elizabeth's hair... Old Version: Version 2.0: Questions, comments, and constructive criticism are welcome and appreciated as always, and you can leave comments and/or notes about the creation on my flickr page (link in signature). Thanks! -Ryan Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted June 29, 2008 Governor Posted June 29, 2008 And try not to notice the hack job on Elizabeth's hair... So you cut the top off the hair piece to make it fit beneath the tricorn? If you didn't say anything then I probably wouldn't have noticed. Quote
Capn Frank Posted June 30, 2008 Posted June 30, 2008 Good improvements to your Vig It's a good idea to use the Harry Potter sharkboy for a part of Davy Jones Crew. I've also added this vig to the Vig portion of the Index of Land-Based MOCs. Again. good work mate. Quote

Yup, that's exactly what I did! And it looks like I shouldn'tve said anything... Good improvements to your Vig It's a good idea to use the Harry Potter sharkboy for a part of Davy Jones Crew. I've also added this vig to the Vig portion of the Index of Land-Based MOCs. Again. good work mate. Thank you! One thing though, can you change the picture in the index to the second one in this thread? The one in the index is the old version, which isn't as good as the new one. Thanks! Quote
BlueBard Posted July 2, 2008 Posted July 2, 2008 Nice vig and nice Mini-Figures too! The two "monster" pirates are quite well done, you've really chosen the right parts (even if the shark's head was a bit too obvious ) Elizabeth is nice too (you really did a good job with her hair ) but if I can make one criticism you have cut it a bit too much and if you look closely it seems she's bald Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted July 12, 2008 Governor Posted July 12, 2008 And it looks like I shouldn'tve said anything... It doesn't look that bad - how did you get the hair to stay on anyways? Quote
