Hi! It's me the mad boat-guy again.

Magnus effect powered boat is nothing new. So far it looked like this:  (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magnus_effect)

But it needs wind to work and basicly it needs power to behave like a sail. And that's way too simple, it needs some overengineering!

So my goal was to design a Magnus effect propeller for water. And I came to this: A propeller made of two rotating cylinders, rotating on a turntable.

Does it work? poorly! but still, it is able to push my 5848 Bellville boat and definitely works better than it looks. Obviously nothing better than a crude traditional propeller exept the fun to have an odd-looking, huge and stupid propeller which at least is a proof of concept.

I don't think I'm going further with this concept. It has a funny flaw: no backward because rotating the other way rotates the cylinders the other way too and the low pressure zone is the same.

Next one will be more serious I guess
