Feuer Zug Posted June 23, 2022 Posted June 23, 2022 Recently, the PDSRE held a military parade for absolutely no good reason, in the capital city of Geilenbeck. Field Marshal B.I. Galkin oversaw the event from the balcony at the Supreme Presidium of the Glorious State. The ambassador to the Brick of Nations is directly on the Field Marshal's left. To the right is an Air Force commissar. Strange that such a lowly person would be in a prominent place. The first to pass by the glorious leader are the heads of the military branches. Note those on the balcony. Their position relative to Field Marshal Galkin is indicative of their current favor with the glorious leader. In order of the services (right to left), we have General Metzger, head of the Army; Admiral Utoplenny, leader of the Navy; General Vogel, commander of the Air Force; and General Nedostovernoy, in charge of the Border Guards. The infantry of the People's 1st Division gloriously marches along Stein Weg! Following the men of the infantry is the armoured corps. Thanks to @Mirror1810 for reminding me to have a crowd. I was working on my parade scene when the Deland Republic parade occured. Every minifig I could find with a red shirt patriotically joined in the mandatory fun as I modified the scene to have a second side. Quote
ParmBrick Posted June 23, 2022 Posted June 23, 2022 Nice scene, as I've already said in the other thread, love the idea of a military parade, so original, pity that I have never had it in these years xD All that red, so socialist xD Quote
Mirror1810 Posted June 23, 2022 Posted June 23, 2022 Now that's just awesome, considering you built it in real life. The balcony and street looks great and I love the subtle wordplay with the leaders of the military branches. Terrific! Quote

firearmsfan Posted June 24, 2022 Posted June 24, 2022 Love how you always manage to make builds without any additional accessories! (helmets, weapons) Quote
Feuer Zug Posted June 25, 2022 Author Posted June 25, 2022 @firearmsfan Thanks. I have some Star Wars weapons, the old pirates stuff, and a little other items, but only recently have broken down and bought other stuff. I now have a few vests and some firearms. The rest I can brick build or work without. Besides, only the Border Guards (in full ceremonial uniforms) had weapons at the parade. All others are not trusted. Also, I never thought I'd get to use all those Disney Toy Story army men I've acquired in bulk purchases over the years. Quote

Dank u wel. We crazy socialists must have everything BIG and RED! Having a huge tub of old red bricks has nothing to do with it either. The limousine in the parade is the convertible version. More to come of it soon. Quote
