carpandean Posted June 7, 2022 Posted June 7, 2022 (edited) I've always liked seeing people's Tantive IV hallway MOCs and wanted to do one of my own some time. The one thing that always bothered me was minifig's lack of ability to crouch as the characters do in the scene: So that was my first step. Came up with one version for the two with one knee down and second version for the one crouching but with both knees up. Each character is attached to a 1x1 plate in the floor. Then, I used this photo as a reference for building the hallway: Built the whole thing only to realize, while rendering, that the top arches in Lego have recesses in them. Had to completely rebuild the top (basically, flipped direction in the middle, so the top is upside down.) Obviously, I don't have the rebel vests or helmets in Studio, so I used the closest that I could find. Hopefully, I can build this for real, so that I can use the right parts and update my photos. (Note: if the tile on the back is a problem with the 12 x 12 rule, I can shorten the floor by one or two studs. Fixed it.) Edited June 18, 2022 by carpandean Quote
MaximillianRebo Posted June 7, 2022 Posted June 7, 2022 If you go to the link below - Official Lego sets made in LDD - and scroll down about half way you can download the .lxf for 7668 Rebel Scout Speeder, open that file in Studio and you'll have the Rebel helmets with visors to add to your file. https://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/41226-key-topic-official-lego-sets-made-in-ldd/&page=27 Quote

It gave me a "cannot be downloaded securely" error, but I was able to rename what I did download to an .lxf file. The helmets downloaded, but won't snap onto the heads in my scene. I manually adjusted one and then copy/pasted the head/helmet/visor combo. Should work well enough for remaking the prints. Edite: Photos updated. Edited June 7, 2022 by carpandean Quote

I don't have Photoshop (been a long time since I've used it, sadly.) Can its files be used in Studio PartDesigner? I haven't had a chance to play with that yet, so I don't know what it will work with. Quote
Jody Meyer Posted June 9, 2022 Posted June 9, 2022 I use them only in studio. Also have the helm as well if interested. Quote
carpandean Posted June 18, 2022 Author Posted June 18, 2022 Thanks to @MaximillianRebo and @Jody Meyer, the images have been fully updated with the actual Rebel Trooper uniforms/helmets. Quote
