lego.ryan Posted June 28, 2008 Posted June 28, 2008 A small vignette I made to showcase my Mummy figures. From left to right: Jonathon, Evie, and Rick. Sepia! And one in color: Questions, comments, thoughts, and constructive criticism are welcome and appreciated. Thanks! -Ryan Quote
Dovchenko Posted June 28, 2008 Posted June 28, 2008 A very good Vig, works very well to show their escape (from the scene that I now forget). Loving the mini palm and the tipped-over obelisk. And Marion's face, with brown eyes? Nice. Quote
cartoondude Posted June 28, 2008 Posted June 28, 2008 Thats just plain AWESOME!! I know the producer to The mummy movies and have seen an unfinished cut its really good and the hair you used For Rick is perfect for the new Alex. I am also working on some custom mummy figs with decals. Review of M3 coming soon. Good job lego Ryan Quote
iamded Posted June 28, 2008 Posted June 28, 2008 This is a really cool vig, lego.ryan! Great SNOT, and that toppling obelisk looks great! ~Peace Quote
JimBee Posted June 28, 2008 Posted June 28, 2008 Truly great work, lego ryan. my only critisism is evees legs, it kind of looks like shes not wearing any pants. i love your Rick, by the way. Quote
BlueBard Posted June 29, 2008 Posted June 29, 2008 Simple but great vig! And nice MFs too, specially Rick Quote
Stony Posted June 29, 2008 Posted June 29, 2008 I like the setting but is the woman in the middle in her underwear or is it supposed to represent shorts. I don't mean to be rude about it though. Just curious. Quote
iamded Posted June 29, 2008 Posted June 29, 2008 (edited) my only critisism is evees legs, it kind of looks like shes not wearing any pants. Criticism? How is that bad? Speaking of her, where did you get a brown-eyed Marion face? ~Peace Edited June 29, 2008 by iamded Quote
Khorne Posted June 29, 2008 Posted June 29, 2008 Your figs are spot on! You chose the perfect torso, head and hair combinations. The characters are instantly recognizable . Can't remember this scene though . Quote
Tom_castlefan Posted June 30, 2008 Posted June 30, 2008 Very nice - I love the slanted obelisk. Keep it up, I love seeing your work, such as the isle de muerta vig. Tom Quote
Norro Posted July 1, 2008 Posted July 1, 2008 While I'm not generally into parodies that is some great work! God Bless, Nathan Quote
Shoc Posted July 1, 2008 Posted July 1, 2008 While I'm not generally into parodies that is some great work! I too agree it is a great work! But how is it a parody? Speaking of her, where did you get a brown-eyed Marion face? It's probably photoshopped, but maybe not... :skull: Quote
lego.ryan Posted July 2, 2008 Author Posted July 2, 2008 A very good Vig, works very well to show their escape (from the scene that I now forget). Loving the mini palm and the tipped-over obelisk. And Marion's face, with brown eyes? Nice. Thanks! And the scene occurs after Beni sits on a lever, which makes Hamunaptra sink into the sand. Then everything above the ground starts to fall over, too. Thats just plain AWESOME!! I know the producer to The mummy movies and have seen an unfinished cut its really good and the hair you used For Rick is perfect for the new Alex. I am also working on some custom mummy figs with decals. Review of M3 coming soon. Good job lego Ryan Haha, thanks! And hopefully Tomb of the Dragon Emperor will have some neat scenes to make vigs of! This is a really cool vig, lego.ryan! Great SNOT, and that toppling obelisk looks great! ~Peace Thanks! And I always love getting compliments on my SNOT. Truly great work, lego ryan. my only critisism is evees legs, it kind of looks like shes not wearing any pants. i love your Rick, by the way. Thank you! I made Evie's legs fleshy because her dress would be moving as she was running, and plain black made her look like she was wearing a sleeveless suit. And who doesn't want to see Rachel Weisz's legs? Simple but great vig! And nice MFs too, specially Rick Thanks! I was worried about Rick not being recognizable, but it seems like everyone knows just who he is! I like the setting but is the woman in the middle in her underwear or is it supposed to represent shorts. I don't mean to be rude about it though. Just curious. It's just her dress flying around her as she runs. Although I'm sure no one here would say no to Evie in her underpants... Criticism? How is that bad? Speaking of her, where did you get a brown-eyed Marion face?~Peace See what I mean, Stony? And I edited the eyes brown on PaintShop Pro. Your figs are spot on! You chose the perfect torso, head and hair combinations. The characters are instantly recognizable . Can't remember this scene though . Thank you! I really love getting compliments on my figs. And the scene description is up near the top of my reply. Very nice - I love the slanted obelisk. Keep it up, I love seeing your work, such as the isle de muerta vig. Tom Thanks! And I'll try to keep up my vig-building. While I'm not generally into parodies that is some great work!God Bless, Nathan Thank you very much sir, you are a gentleman and a scholar! I too agree it is a great work! But how is it a parody? It's probably photoshopped, but maybe not... :skull: Thanks! And yes, Evie's eyes have been turned brown with PaintShop Pro. Thanks for all the replies, everyone! Quote
