Feuer Zug Posted June 2, 2022 Posted June 2, 2022 "This just in," People's Star Network anchor Karl Steinschmidt announces as he smiles at the camera. "Our glorious PDSRE forces report capturing a major shipment of illicit drugs during counter-narcotics operations in Keikruk. "Yes, Karl," co-anchor Hilda Spiel gleeful adds. "Nearly 900 kilos of high-grade drugs with a street value of nearly 20 million Brick Bucks were captured and 'destroyed' according to the latest release." ----------- In country, the cartel members wait at a tiny airstrip for the small business jet to arrive with their cargo. The smugglers marshal the aircraft to a halt near their truck. Ministry of State Secrets forces burst forth from the jungle, guns blazing as they eliminate the cartel men. Their heavy weapons man points his rocket launcher at the aircraft, letting the pilots know if they resist, they will be blown up. The MSS men unload the drugs from the jet into their newly captured truck. Quote
TheBeeze Posted June 2, 2022 Posted June 2, 2022 You earned 20 bucks for completing this mission. Some post mission intel: After intercepting the shipment, the area is cleared and documents are found pertaining to the use of this airfield some 10 years prior by Juores Intelligence agents for slipping pro-KLR forces into Juores to incite revolt. The airfield was never discovered by Brochanan. Quote
Dutch Thriceman Posted June 3, 2022 Posted June 3, 2022 Nicely done Feuer, I really like the blue streak on the airplane. Quote
Feuer Zug Posted June 6, 2022 Author Posted June 6, 2022 Thanks all. The intel about the airstrip being unknown to the Brochanan government is one the PDSRE would share with allied intelligence agencies for clandestine uses. @Dutch Thriceman I wanted something a little better than a plain white small business jet. I did a blue stripe on the fuselage for fun. Quote
ParmBrick Posted June 6, 2022 Posted June 6, 2022 As always, great moc! I have to make up my mind to buy those damn new street baseplates, too versatile Quote
Feuer Zug Posted June 6, 2022 Author Posted June 6, 2022 Thanks @ParmBrick You should give in and buy a set of the street baseplates. Give them a try and see if you like them. I've used them for lots of builds here with GBW. They work well for the subject matter. Quote
