Hello Eurobricks,

I recently got a chance to purchase a sealed 7860 Remote Controlled Signal for a very good price, and it arrived today! I'm sure some of you know by now that I have a great passion for the Grey Era so this was an exciting opportunity for me. Earlier this year I had a similar experience with a 7862 Remote Controlled Decoupling, which I opened and reviewed, and I will do the same with this signal set. I was quite lucky not only to get it for $100 (sealed signals go for around $250 minimum on BrickLink) but also from a US seller, so I didn't have to purchase internationally. The store I bought it from specializes in vintage collectibles so I guess they bought it from someone and no one had purchased it yet. They still have a 7861 for $50 and a 7857 for $30, both sealed, if anyone is interested (here is their website:https://roguetoys.com/) which I did not purchase because those aren't really bargain prices and I have no need for duplicates of those sets yet. Anyways, just figured it was a rare and interesting find so I thought I'd share it on Eurobricks!

Check out pictures here. Unfortunately the cellophane and box have some damage on the right side and the front right of the box is bowed inwards, but that's ok given the excellent deal I got.

Also be sure to drop by my YouTube channel once the review and opening is up, I will reply to this topic with a link to the video when I have finished it. Later today I will break the cellophane and unbox the set. (my channel if anyone is interested to watch my other videos)

And here is the video! Let me know what you think of it.

I also just uploaded a review of the 7750 Steam Engine, a rare and expensive set- check that out if you're interested in it.
