Sir Dano Posted June 27, 2008 Posted June 27, 2008 I know most people prefer the old ball joint connection, but I prefer the clip style. Here's a way to convert your old skellies with just flex tubing. Them in use I hope this helps somebody else. (If anybody's wondering about the pic quality, some friends were up for the weekend and they let me use their camera.) Quote
kill will Posted June 27, 2008 Posted June 27, 2008 Nice! It looks like the real thing, but I prefer 'floppy' arms for dead guys, and 'stiff' arms for the undead guys. Quote
robbo Posted June 27, 2008 Posted June 27, 2008 Excellent work there sir dano......a great idea.....now those shoulders dont look so bulky. Quote
BlueBard Posted June 29, 2008 Posted June 29, 2008 Nice idea But personally I still prefer the old skellies because they look more "lego" and does not have those enormous shoulders... Quote
Shoc Posted June 29, 2008 Posted June 29, 2008 (edited) My computer is messed up, so the pictures don't show up, would it be possible to tell me the hyperlinks? I would be interested to see these. Nice! It looks like the real thing, but I prefer 'floppy' arms for dead guys, and 'stiff' arms for the undead guys. Me too, how could a minifig die and then get bigger arms? The originals are more realistic for dead minifigures. :skull: Edited June 29, 2008 by Shoc Quote
Skipper 24 Posted June 29, 2008 Posted June 29, 2008 I personally prefer floppy arms anyway but it's a pain for holding stuff. Quote

Thanks, I looked on your Flickr before but couldn't find them... That's a really good way of changing the arm attachements, very fluent. What did you use to plug onto the socket? :skull: Quote
Sir Dano Posted June 29, 2008 Author Posted June 29, 2008 What did you use to plug onto the socket? Flex Tubing Quote
Shoc Posted June 29, 2008 Posted June 29, 2008 Flex Tubing Ahhh yes. So the hole in them is useful for something! I still wonder why there is a hole all the way through, it doesn't need that to bend... :skull: Quote
