Dawid Boczek Posted March 11, 2022 Posted March 11, 2022 (edited) Hello, I'm presenting my first MOC here: Liebherr LTM 1070 4.2. Model weighs around 7kg and contains over 7000 parts, stands over 170cm high when erected. Motorized functions propelled by 9 motors: 8x6x8 drivetrain, extendable pneumatic outriggers, slewing, boom lifting and extending, winch. Other functions: live axles suspension, openable doors and storage. More pictures can be found here on flickr. Edited March 12, 2022 by Milan Edited for frontpaging. Quote

As a crane enthusiast myself, I like so many things on this model. Attention to detail, proportions, and functions, all are great. Extendable pneumatic outriggers are always nice to see. Openable doors with frames, too. We will put one more image in your post so we can do some frontpaging Quote
suffocation Posted March 11, 2022 Posted March 11, 2022 What a masterpiece Not to mention the timeless charm of the old-school tyres. Quote
Thirdwigg Posted March 12, 2022 Posted March 12, 2022 Epic! I like the old tires on the new rims. Also that boom reach is great. Quote
Gray Gear Posted March 12, 2022 Posted March 12, 2022 Awesome! I like the yellow color with a lot of black instead of just yellow. In combination with these oldschool tires it makes the crane look old, which is a good thing imo. The rounded shape of the boom and in other places is also very nice to look at. Well done, thx for sharing Quote
jorgeopesi Posted March 12, 2022 Posted March 12, 2022 Nice mix between old and new parts and Technic and normal pieces and on top of that many well done functions, wellcome. Quote
Johnny1360 Posted March 12, 2022 Posted March 12, 2022 The design is so clean and smooth that it makes it look deceptively easy to build. Very well done. Quote
technicfanatic Posted March 13, 2022 Posted March 13, 2022 This is really excellent. It packs a lot of functions into a neat chassis AND it is not under powered. I've seen a lot of efforts that are underpowered and need manual help in the various functions, but here everything is smooth. It does look like the height was over-ambitious, because at full extension the beams tilt, but this is a minor thing, and you can just not extend the booms so much. I also like the judicious mix of system and Technic parts. Well done! Quote
MCD Posted March 14, 2022 Posted March 14, 2022 Absolutely stunning! Love how neat all the features are and it looks bang on for scale and proportion! Cant stop looking at the pictures? Its great. Quote

Krol Zmija Sebastian Posted March 28, 2022 Posted March 28, 2022 Strong build! I almost thought to ask if it actually extends! Quote
