Stuartn Posted March 3, 2022 Posted March 3, 2022 Hi all, Something I have noticed about Lego - and figbarfing in particular - is how most attention on minifigures is constrained to Star Wars, castle and other licensed or action themes. There are few Lego City/Town figbarfs. So, I decided to rectify this by building them myself. Here is the first grouping: Postage workers, with a modified Lego City mail plane. Thank you for viewing. If these are popular, there will be more in weeks to come. Quote

A figbarf is a collection of usually customised or modified figures. The term was originally used by AFOLs who become sick of seeing many MOCs primarily consisting of custom or generic figures, and therefore the term fig-barf come about, a portmanteau of minifigure and 'barf' (meaning vomit due to the unwanted proliferation of these MOCs). However the term become prominent as a regular MOCing term as it was picked up by AFOLs and used as a descriptive term Quote

So I guess my sigfig (the person in my avatar) would be somewhat of a figbarf as the torso is from the cargo train and the legs face and hair are from other sets. Quote
