Veynom Posted February 13, 2022 Posted February 13, 2022 Here is my infamous TIE-Vidiyo. TIE-Vidiyo by Veynom, on Flickr TIE-Vidiyo by Veynom, on Flickr Built for a contest on the French BrickPirate forum where we had to pick up a Lego set that does not fly, and make it fly, whatever the way. I selected one of the Vidiyo boxes, slapped some TIE-wings on, added a pilot seat, engineered a system to prevent the cockpit from rolling around, and decided to use the soft handle as engine exhaust. My TIE-Vidiyo was born. And some people said the Vidiyo sub-theme would never take off... Quote

The build is great, and I love the concept of using the cube as a cockpit, but most of all I have to show my appreciation for this terrific pun Quote
MaximillianRebo Posted February 14, 2022 Posted February 14, 2022 I like it! Nice twist on a well known ship design. Quote
Feuer Zug Posted February 14, 2022 Posted February 14, 2022 This version should take off. Sadly, it's about as vulnerable to damage as the main Vidiyo theme. Great build. Quote
RichardGoring Posted February 14, 2022 Posted February 14, 2022 Terrific! Nice work. The strap incorporation is particularly elegant and clever. Quote
Mandalorianknight Posted February 14, 2022 Posted February 14, 2022 I like it, looks cute, almost like a minecraft version. Quote
jelletv Posted February 18, 2022 Posted February 18, 2022 (edited) I like the way you made the engine at the back of the ship a good color choice. Edited February 18, 2022 by jelletv Quote
Kwear Posted February 18, 2022 Posted February 18, 2022 Original extension with this very special vidiyo's piece. Cool Quote
