Feuer Zug Posted February 12, 2022 Posted February 12, 2022 A shipping company with a debt to the KLR has repaid it by surreptitiously carrying members of the PDSRE Ministry of State Secrets. At sea, the operatives boarded the small crude oil lighter S.S. Tiny Petro before it entered Soalon waters. The Tiny Petro docked at the transfer terminal and began taking on her cargo of crude oil. Three sailors descend the gangplank, joking with each other as they head for the security checkpoint. The guards were expecting papers, not pistols. Quickly, a role swap occurs. More heavily armed sailors go ashore, taking down other security teams as they consolidate control of the oil terminal. ][/url] All the while, the Master of the ship watches and sips his coffee. He’d been chased by pirates on the high seas before, and did not enjoy it. Watching these operatives in action, he smiled. It was fun to be on the giving end for once. ***** Side note: After thrashing about, working on the dock facility, stealing every last grey tile I can find it seems, the wife ask, "Why don't use use those grey plates over there?" pointing at my ambush creation. Road plates, runways, and now docks. Wow, these new road pieces are really turning into multipurpose pieces. Maybe build some bunkers out of them next? Quote

I was expecting it to take a lot longer as noted by my comment about the dock. Not having to build a major support structure and tile it really helps. Quote

Might have to get more. 5 hours ago, ParmBrick said: Nice story and very good oil tanker boat here! Thank you. The oil tanker was fun to build. Getting all the piping at the right interval of studs with lengths took some experimentation. 4 hours ago, TheBeeze said: Congratulations, you are the first conquer an oil Field. The glorious members of the Ministry of State Secrets will use the funds to further their endeavors. Quote
Driver Brandon Grumman Posted April 5, 2022 Posted April 5, 2022 Ok! Whoever idea at TLG it was to do road plates gets my utmost of respect. These not only make good street pieces, but they are very good for docks and lots too! Quote
Feuer Zug Posted April 5, 2022 Author Posted April 5, 2022 @Poodabricks These road plates are quite versatile. Roads, docks, and more. I used them to build a hardened aircraft shelter as well. I'm sure they can be used as walls too. All one needs is imagination for their employment. Quote
