Modern factory

So after depicting what manufacturing looked like in the 19th century now we are moving on to state of the art 21st century technologies. in this post i will step by step build a modern day manufacturing plant (made smaller ofcourse).

first on is the transportation backbone of any modern factory: little automated vehicles called agv's:

next up is a pretty important piece of machinery that is found everywhere: a modern day industrial robot arm:

edit: first layer is 90% built including a welding robot with tinted cell windows for eye protection of factory workers.

rear view: the machines to shape the product have not yet arrived but the robot arms have

second layer includes an automated warehouse with a robot that moves the goods around the storage spots. the agvs come into it via a goods elevator.

here is the whole building so far. next layer will be the final one which is office space.

Nice setup for the factory. The AGVs are recognizable from any auto manufacturing plant and it is easy to see them used in more applications.

thanks! i do plan to add more layers to the building. next one will be an automated storage warehouse. with a lift for the agvs to go up into. after that maybe some office space where new products are planned and designed
