Help needed to complete my Mech weapon

Hi, I have recently just completed the awesome Shark Mech by MOKO (Build video available on YouTube) and he looked a bit bare without a weapon so I decided to build the one shown in MOKO's Video. Unfortunately, the weapon was not part of the build vid so I have had to reverse engineer it which has so far been a great challenge and a lot of fun but I have come to a bit of a block. I am literally 3 or so bricks from completion but I have no idea how to attach the gun barrel and the top half cover to the body. I wondered if anyone could give me some advise or options to try? The white parts in the image are parts I think may work but might also have to be changed to accommodate a different approach. I can share the studio file if anyone would like it. The weapon is featured here with loads of useful images but does not show any of the internals. It did however give me the opportunity to look at exterior parts placement and line them up correctly: LEGOロボ／サメ専用エクソスーツ : レゴ道 (livedoor.jp) 

 This is for my personal pleasure and I do not share instructions or parts lists unless the original designer has given permission.

Whatever images you tried to post/ link to don't show up and based on such a generic question it will be impossible to make much sense of your description. That said, it seems to me that the weapon is just a full replacement of the hand and is attached via a short axle or axle pin, so I'm not sure what you are realyl asking. Anyway, clearly some screenshots with the problem itrems marked out with arrows or such are needed before anyone can tell you what you may need to change/ fix to make it work.

Thanks Mylenium, I have re uploaded the images and I think they work fine now. This is my first post so I apologise. The images should make more sense (I hope!!).  The Internal View shown the gun with the side panels removed and the top cover. The barrel connects to the top cover fine but i need to connect the top cover to the body. I can annotate the images to make my issue clearer if it is still confusing.
