ParmBrick Posted February 2, 2022 Posted February 2, 2022 Hi guys! Today I show all of you my latest creation. The Lynx KF41 (Kettenfahrzeug 41) is a next-generation tracked infantry fighting vehicle developed by Rheinmetall Defence for global defence customers. The combat vehicle is equipped with active (APS), passive (heavy armour, smoke granades dischargers) and reactive systems (ERA) to offer protection against RPG, 120mm tank shell, and anti-tank guided missiles (ATGMs). It has a unmanned turret with WOTAN 35mm autocannon, a 7.62mm coaxial machine gun, a remote machine gun system, a pod for Rafael Spike LR2 ATGMs. It has, also, ROSY system, Battle Management System, SEOSS, FCS, laser warning system, acoustic shooter locating system, situational awareness system featuring day/night vision and automatic target recognition and Video processing and distribution unit. Feuer Zug Posted February 2, 2022 Posted February 2, 2022 Good work on recreating the Lynx in bricks. I do like how you built a viable interior to this armored fighting vehicle. Quote

I do like how you built a viable interior to this armored fighting vehicle. It was not easy, I took some special techniques in the construction of this model, especially in the front. The interiors are not perfect, I admit, but at least, as in the real model, 3 crew members and 8 soldiers can be seated inside, sitting as in reality (2 with their back to the turret, 3 on the right side, 3 on the left side). Very cute. Thank you both very much! Actually the design of this vehicle is very futuristic, and I believe that many modern and future vehicles will follow this type of design, also because it has considerable advantages, such as the application of stealth technologies applied to land vehicles (see the prototype of the Polish PL-01 light tank). Actually it's a latest generation design, extremely effective on the battlefield, and intuitive. Just see that by now every tracked IFV today have very similar designs to each other. I don't know if this is good or not, I would have liked to have seen something more distinctive in development. Maybe in the future they will develop more particular designs, at least I hope. Quote
