[MOC] Dark Souls Mimic

Liar ahead!

I built a mimic from the game Dark Souls, or at least most of one. 

 

You have to take some parts off, but it also works as a regular chest.

There's a reason adventurers tend to be weary around treasure chests. You've captured that perfectly, even if it takes a couple of extra pieces to transform. The chest alone is nice work.

Thanks! I toyed with trying to make everything fold up inside, but ultimately that would detract from the overall look.

This thing looks just as scary as the one that chewed me up on the High Wall of Lothric. And judging by the chain it seems you've got an excellent eye for details!

Ahahah, I love mimics and this one looks very chompy. The tongue is a great feature, you can imagine it catching and rolling some poor victim in. While I am nowhere near good enough to play the game, I do appreciate these monsters.
