Hi

Most of my sets are unboxed so I store them in sealed bags in big plastic boxes. This isn't a terribly neat or easy to use way of storying them. What I think I want is like a tool chest with small drawers as ideally I would like one set per (labelled) drawer. However, everytime I go looking for something like this it's either got drawers that are too small or only comes with like 6 drawers for about £20. I have iro 80 sets ranging in size from small Town cars through the Grand Prix scene to Model Team.

Anyone got any good ideas or examples of what they have done (for a reasonable cost!).

Cheers

Well, there are many opinions about sorting and storing your Lego, just as many people walk around.. I got a lot of draws for my stuff, but that is just for the "general" lego, smaller items i put in a sort of tray's .. but they fill up quite easy... :hmpf_bad:

I store it in larger boxes, depending on colors, then sort that out into bricks, plates, wedge en enz... figures and atributes in a separate box.. :cry_happy:

I found out that my collection is ever expanding, but my storage is lacking the capacety to keep up... so smaller boxes, candy tubs, lego tubs and al sorts of trays make it into my hobby room...

:hmpf:

Now I just keep the models I want separate from my hobby room, SW figures are on a stand, aswell a nice colection of some 300 + Blacktron 1 figs... all other stuff is in my hobby room.. and I try to keep it there... but I always seem to mix it up again.. so there I sit with the computer and a lot of lego around me

Well, before I drift anymore from the subject, trying to keep your lego nicely sorted doesn't work for me :sing:
