Jessica Posted June 20, 2008 Posted June 20, 2008 This is a story pictorial..... Hans wasn't sure what to do as he approached the door. He turned to his friends in the squad who are silent as he approaches..... Lennon was worried as the German approached the house..... Hans took a moment before he readied his MP40 for combat...... To be continued...... Quote
5150 Lego Posted June 20, 2008 Posted June 20, 2008 Your stories are great, but can i make a sugjestion? It seems that your just taking multiple pics of the same scene. In this instance all of the mini figs are in the same spot even as the story progress. It would be better if you posed themdiffernt for every scene. Just a friendly sugjestion. Quote
cartoondude Posted June 20, 2008 Posted June 20, 2008 Nice comic. I actually think it looks kind of good blurry. I need to get some of those Brick forge helmets. Quote
LuxorV Posted June 20, 2008 Posted June 20, 2008 Neat little scene. I'll be waiting to see the rest of the story LuxorV Quote
Lt. Col. Thok Posted June 20, 2008 Posted June 20, 2008 Indeed neat, but the blurry pics are a bit distracting. Quote
Jessica Posted June 20, 2008 Author Posted June 20, 2008 Part II Hans readied myself as he inched closer toward the door. "Hurry up Hans," Dieter yelled Hans slowly opened the door.... He peered in and there he saw the Russian as he aimed and fired his pistol Hans went down with a bullet to the arm.... To be continued Sneak preview Quote
tedbeard Posted June 20, 2008 Posted June 20, 2008 Seriously, the thought is great but other figures need to move besides the main characters. Make them turn their heads or raise/lower arms, take a step, anything! And of course the blurry pictures are getting tiresome. Is there not a close-up function on your camera or do you need a tripod (small ones are only $10-20.) Quote
Adam Posted June 20, 2008 Posted June 20, 2008 Man, those look like blurry pics of the same scene, but nice story anyhow. I'd point out that they haven't entered yet, but I notice there's still more to come...! Quote
Tanotrooper Posted June 20, 2008 Posted June 20, 2008 First, welcome to Eurobricks! I hope you have a nice time over here Yes the pictures are blurry, but it takes some time to take good pictures. What doesn't fit is that only one of the Germans checks the building... In the battle of Stalingrad every foot was checked for enemies, and they lived in constant fear of what would be behind the next window... Unless these are the Heer's finest and bravest troops, they wouldn't stand still. Otherwise, I believe this is one of the first times that a pic is taken of the Notzis fighting the Commies. TT Quote
Jessica Posted June 20, 2008 Author Posted June 20, 2008 (edited) Sorry everyone, let me start over again..... Hans stood still for a moment.... "You don't have to do this," said Adelfried "I must," Hans whispered. "For the Furher" "I'm afraid you might get hurt Hans, that's all." "I know, I'm glad your my friend." He looked at each of them and smiled at how fortunite he was. He wasn't part of the SS, but at least he knew he was watched over by good friends. Edwin raised his arm toward Hans. "Remember we have your back Hans." Dieter looked at Edwin. He thought of nothing of this guy from Dresdan. But for a moment thought maybe he wasn't so quiet after all. He smiled and answered, "We all have each others backs." "Look guys, I'm glad you're my friends." "Here, here," said Edwin, all of them smiled and realized one of them isn't going to make it. But for that moment, they didn't care as long as they had each other. They were happy and felt like brothers. To be continued.... Edited June 20, 2008 by Jessica Quote
Captain Green Hair Posted June 20, 2008 Posted June 20, 2008 Way to go Jessica, nice pics and a nice build up to a great story! Quote
Oky Posted June 20, 2008 Posted June 20, 2008 I'm sorry, but will this involve Indy at some point? Cause I really don't see why else this topic should be in the Licensed forum. Other than that, it sounds interesting. Quote
Jessica Posted June 21, 2008 Author Posted June 21, 2008 I think I should move it right away to its proper place Quote
Jessica Posted June 21, 2008 Author Posted June 21, 2008 OK, I wasn't going to show this, but here it is..... Did you notice who was in the background? Quote
commanderbly42 Posted June 22, 2008 Posted June 22, 2008 What's Indy doing there!?! Great comic - the pictures are much better now! Quote
