Hello everybody!

This is our first publication in this forum with a homemade airport done with my kids (13 and 7).

The starting point was the lego city plane 7893 and my son asking for an airport...

Of course we don't have enough pieces to be able to build what we had in mind (as everybody else I guess) and playability was an important point so we didn't build a complete roof.

We do hope you will like it!

See you at the boarding gate...

My daughter (13) did all the minifigures scenes.

The sliding doors were invented by my other daughter a couple of years ago...

Yeah! The picture restrictions on this site are a bit a rigged. I hope that changes soon.

But to the airport. It's literally the best one I have ever seen. The ones that Lego makes are lame as I don't know what. But this airport has sooooo much good detail. Okay so it doesn't have a roof. BIG DEAL!!!! I think it still looks amazing. 10/10

I'm really sorry, but it seems every picture I want to upload is too big! (even at 80k)

the picture upload thing is stupid tbh. what people do is create accounts on flickr for example and then just link their pics into here and they will be automatically embeded. this will allow you to upload more than one picture and higher quality pictures without these restrictions. I dont even know what the built in uploader is for to be honest. all that aside you guys did a really good job on the airport! looks really good!

A lovely build indeed. Reminds of apartments I use to build back in the day with open roofs. Regarding pictures, Eurobricks isn't a hosting site so it's best to use something like Flickr (as stated before). Anyway, a good job you and your children have done! :pir-thumb:

true true but it should state that in the file upload tbh so like add some disclaimer like "this isnt ment to store your pictures" or something like that. will contact the admins about that because every single new user (including me!) stumbles over it.

As a matter of fact, there is one in the rules section:

Quote

Eurobricks does not host pictures. Your pictures should first be uploaded to an image hosting service such as Brickshelf or Flickr.

I do feel like the rules could be more highlighted in general so everyone new can see them right away. :yoda:

true true but the issue is still prevalent so i have quoted the admin about it anyways in the support thread about this very issue
