Feuer Zug Posted November 22, 2021 Posted November 22, 2021 F-23 Black Widow II. This is the proposed Northrup / McDonald Douglas production variant, mostly. It has the modified trough serrations and the bump in the diverterless air intakes. As seen, the landing gear is included and has door. The main weapons bay is built and loaded with a pair of AAMRAMs. Due to space constraints, I could not include the forward weapons bay. I used the line art on Wikipedia to give me a good idea of the size, overlaying my work in progress on the screen. The new road plates serve as a decent runway. Quote
ParmBrick Posted November 23, 2021 Posted November 23, 2021 Very nice aircraft! Love the design of the new prototypes nowadays, so smooth and clear! I would also have opted to add other functions such as wing surfaces, but in this scale it would have been very difficult to achieve them. Quote

Trying to do moving flight surfaces would have been hard at the scale and angles. Quote
TheBeeze Posted December 1, 2021 Posted December 1, 2021 Nice! They could probably use some air support over in GBW if you're interested Quote
