EvilEnderman Posted October 24, 2021 Posted October 24, 2021 Hi everyone, My latest MOC is in the form of an alternate build - a race truck built from the parts of 42111. The features are as follows: V8 Turbocharged engine with detailed pipework Nitrous Oxide boosters Front independant suspension Rear live axle suspension HOG steering Fifth wheel Opening doors with mirrors Interior with fire exinguisher Below are some renders of the truck: Instructions are available on Rebrickable Here is an example pic from the instructions . brickless_kiwi Posted October 25, 2021 Posted October 25, 2021 It's a bit brutal.. I don't think I would like to have that in my rear mirror. As a alternative built for 42111 it's very clever. Quote
Gray Gear Posted October 25, 2021 Posted October 25, 2021 Looks cool! I like the integration of those system slopes mounted at a slight angle in the front grille. And I like the small red headlights, I normally dislike racetrucks because they look blind Quote
Jurss Posted October 25, 2021 Posted October 25, 2021 Nice. Why didn't You used normal steering wheel? Quote

Cheers! - The steering wheel that came with the set is one of the massive scale ones - it looked way to big in the cab of the truck. Part no, 2819 would be perfect for this job if it were included with the set Quote
EvilEnderman Posted April 16, 2023 Author Posted April 16, 2023 Got a few ideas the other night while down the pub Working on a BuWizz conversion for this old moc of mine Got a chassis that passes the rigidity test (dropping it from 0.5m) Tempted to re-jig the bodywork a bit, to keep it as light as possible perhaps a Mercedes truck?
