omnihash_cz Posted October 3, 2021 Posted October 3, 2021 Poppy Port is booming. Streets are filled with youngsters and newcomers. Summer evenings are mild and water in the bay is warm. Right under a city wall some Oleonian immigrant saw his opportunity and opened newest local venture: he started to rent couple rag tag boats on an hourly basis. Local kids seem to love it. Maybe even little too much. Their favourite game is catching the treasure. One boat is a raft with a pile of fake coins glued to its chest. Whoever is able to board and capture the boat is the King of the lower harbour for today. And if the raft is ridden by unsuspecting customer, you get extra points! Just the city guard tried to object that he is payed to check for intruders and not light up the lagoon for evenings shenanigans but couple coins kept him quiet. Except the moments when he has to use the blowhorn to prevent some kiddo from drowning. Quote
