Kenny R Posted September 30, 2021 Posted September 30, 2021 Hi guys, new member here requiring some petty basic help please. Having just built the Crocodile Locomotive I was pretty keen to get it moving for the little ones (and me of course). The Hub motor & lights all arrived in plastic bags with absolutely no instruction. I am not an idiot by any means but am really struggling to pair the hub with an App on my phone. The issue I have is when opening the App I depress the green button on the hub as suggested, the light flashes purple, red, green & blue then goes off completely? The green wireless light in the App remain on ?? Lego have sent me a second Hub but I still have the same issue, so I’m obviously not understanding something correctly. My batteries are top quality and brand new. Also is my App supposed to remember the Hub rather that be looking to re-pair with the device each time? Idiot proof answers please it is my first build. Many thanks in advance Quote

Kenny R Posted September 30, 2021 Author Posted September 30, 2021 Thanks Darkdragon, sorry as you can see, this is all a bit new to me and I wasn’t quite sure where to post! Quote
dr_spock Posted September 30, 2021 Posted September 30, 2021 Have you tried connecting with a different phone or tablet? Not too sure, but I don't think the Crocodile app supports the LED lights. Does it work if you only have the motor connected to port A? Quote

The solution? Simple: Just push the button for a short time like a mouseclick, the light should then flash white and connect to the phone. Quote
Kenny R Posted October 1, 2021 Author Posted October 1, 2021 Thank you, this and and a change of batteries seems to have sorted it! Without wanting to sound too dim how do I turn it off? By holding the green button down for longer? Quote

Literally yes. According to manual for 60198 you need hold that green button for 5 sec to switch off the device. Either you can turn off bluetooth in your smartphone (if you use it instead of remote) then hub losts its connection bluetooth and automatically turns off. Quote
