jedisquidward Posted August 4, 2021 Posted August 4, 2021 Like most people here, I recycle the majority of my boxes, but for the few that I keep (usually for nostalgic reasons), I'm getting a little paranoid about making sure I'm putting them in a situation where they will stay in good condition. I see all these posts from Lego groups I follow on Facebook where people just show all their boxes stacked up to fill up a whole closet. What do all of you do? I'm going to get some very large cardboard boxes to put these in, but are there any extra steps I should take? Quote
MAB Posted August 4, 2021 Posted August 4, 2021 It really depends how much storage space you have. I flatten the ones I want to keep. Quote
CP5670 Posted August 5, 2021 Posted August 5, 2021 I keep all my boxes before 2000 (which had the flaps, trays, etc.), and a few of the later ones that are more fancy like Ideas sets. You can put small boxes inside larger ones. They do fill up the shelves in a closet, but don't take up any floor space for me. Quote
paul_delahaye Posted August 7, 2021 Posted August 7, 2021 I have every box, although at one point I stupidly went through the process of cutting the back of the box from my 80's sets....to save space. This is a mistake in life.....now they get flattened or they get stacked one inside another if they are not the type that came be flattened. They take up a lot of space in the loft! Quote
