Dwarvenlord Posted June 14, 2008 Posted June 14, 2008 (edited) I made this one like, two days ago. I am proud on it, small but effective . more pictures: see My brickshelf(when public). Edited June 19, 2008 by Dwarvenlord Quote
iamded Posted June 14, 2008 Posted June 14, 2008 (edited) I like it! A bit more steam power added, it makes it look like the leader of the pack. Very cool! ~Peace EDIT: Wow, massive pic though... Edited June 14, 2008 by iamded Quote
Adam Posted June 15, 2008 Posted June 15, 2008 Great, except that the canister attached to it makes it look mechanical . though! Quote
Dwarf King Posted June 15, 2008 Posted June 15, 2008 DL - I must say that I like this variation a lot. As you can see by the Dwarf Mine the dwarves are currently the most tech advanced faction in the LEGO world and I don't think this would be out of the scope of the time period for them. It's definitely a fun take on the Defender. I sent you a PM too by the way. Take care, DK Quote
Sir Dillon Posted June 15, 2008 Posted June 15, 2008 Hey Dwarvenlord, your pictures are really big. To be honest, if it weren't for the forums automatic resizer I wouldn't have bothered looking at your creation. I would highly recommend cropping and resizing your pictures for future projects. You can read how to resize them here or here. I am glad I looked at your creation though, because I really like it. I don't usually like mixing steam power in with castle like this, but I think it works here. Now the Defender can do more than just roll downhill! You've done a good job with the steam engine, but I would recommend loosing the red on the boiler, because it looks too modern. I suggest grey or black as a replacement. I don't really like the blues on the cart either, but understand they're there to tie it in with the Crown Faction. Quote
Dwarvenlord Posted June 15, 2008 Author Posted June 15, 2008 thanks for the positive replys! And, sorry for the enormous picture, i know. The next time i'll resize my pictures... Quote
Dwarvenlord Posted June 19, 2008 Author Posted June 19, 2008 Yup, i've resized them. Now i get why it took so long for uploading pics to my Brickshelf... Quote
