[MOC] 9398 Pickup Truck

Quick and simple project made out of curiosity. 9398 set but more down to the earth pickup truck.

Functions:

• Independent suspension
• HOG steering
• Removable body (just like in the original)
• Opening doors
• Collecting dust on the shelf

Hmm, quite interesting result of de-monstering (making it a civilian car again). I love how it looks with corrected proportions! 

Maybe its me but I expected use of the gray rims and place them inverted, as a kind of wheels used at heavy pickups. Surprisingly, white rims appeared as even better option here!

Now I guess that it may even beat the original model if have planetary hubs mounted.

Love the model but I have two questions; Does it use all the same pieces as 9398 (Except for the wheels) and will you create instructions or a .io file?

No. Most of the chassis and the part of the body are made of additional parts.

A don't think so. There are no clever tricks involved. I guess it's possible to build this model just by referencing to the photos above.
