Valve gear on small lego wheels?

I'm interested in building this loco but it will have to use small lego wheels, so has anyone got any ideas for the valve gear?

Well an interressting prototype, I like those small locos. In our shop we offer exactly what you need. We have a variety of different S-wheels, blind and flanged, flywheels and also wheels with a pin attached, to fix rods. And btw. wwe also offer 3D-printed rods.
