Matn Posted June 12, 2008 Posted June 12, 2008 (edited) This contains a spoiler if you haven't read the seventh book of Harry Potter (if so, shame on you ) I wanted to make something instead thinking of new figures, so this came out it: a little vignette that shows the White Tomb where Dumbledore lies. It's from marmer and it is placed on the field of Hogwarts. Harry and his mates are about to put back the Elder Wand. Adam Posted June 13, 2008 Posted June 13, 2008 This *cry* brings back memories of Dumbledore's death ... And him being announced gay . Nice MOC, Matn! Quote
Wout Posted June 14, 2008 Posted June 14, 2008 A simple a nice design. And so a powerfull wand rests with a powerfull wizard. Quote
Shoc Posted June 14, 2008 Posted June 14, 2008 Nice, I like it, though I thought his tomb was a big boxy thing, because Voldemort split it in two... Anyway, the grave is made well And him being announced gay . What's sad about that? It just explains the relationship he and Grindelwald had... :skull: Quote
Holodoc Posted June 14, 2008 Posted June 14, 2008 Nice, I like it, though I thought his tomb was a big boxy thing,... Same here. I expected the grave to be a lot bigger than yours. And wasn´t Dumbledore's death and the tomb mentioned in the sixth book already? One last point: The faces are smiling... Thanks for sharing, Matn! Quote
badboytje88 Posted June 15, 2008 Posted June 15, 2008 One last point: The faces are smiling... Well ofcourse they are smiling! They are remenissing the good times they had with dumbledore as their head teacher Quote
Matn Posted June 15, 2008 Author Posted June 15, 2008 Haha. But I'll make it bigger and a box, like you said. It would look nicer and also I discovered that they are wearing a garment (?) (a wizard outfit) in Hogwarts, so I'll also adjust that. The next vignette I'll make will be one with Dumbledore and Harry at the end of the seventh book, when they are in Harry's head in the 'station'. Quote
Jessica Posted June 18, 2008 Posted June 18, 2008 I'd imagine the tomb a lot bigger than that, but nice try though. It's also makes me very sad though cause now I know what Dumbledores fate is. So thanks a lot. Quote

Athos Posted June 18, 2008 Posted June 18, 2008 It needs some more landscaping or something. Its too sparse and barren right now. Maybe a tree would help? Steve Quote

Well, I won't make a new one (maybe there will be one integrated with my project this summer and later). Well I kinda did know cause my friend told me that Dumbledore meets a sticky end, but I didn't read that part yet. I'll probably look for it now that I know what happens to him.
