I dont think the sbd's will have red "eyes" in anything other than animated trailers.

And not to bring up an old subject, but those small objects that look like clone helmet lamps could be like com-links or something.

Just something to think about.

I thought the Clones already had helmet com-links?

I personally think they are lamps.

Hey are those kamas solid plastic or rubbery and flexible? Because in that pic of all the minifigs the kama bends but it did look like it wouldn't be able to.

Solid plastic would restrict the movement of the legs.

I think all the clone accessories including the kamas are made of the same dark bley plastic as their pistols. You can see in the photo below (taken from Manxboi42's Brickshelf page) that Rex's items look to be the same, slightly shiny material. Rubber isn't shiny.

I guess that the kama is made from plastic (the slightly softer plastic like the weapons in the Batman and Indy sets) rather than rubber as thin parts of rubber would be more likely to break during play. The trade-off is restricted movement in the legs. I personally don't mind that at all.

Could be wrong but that's how it appears to me :classic:

Yea I wont really mind the leg restriction either. But does anyone else have any ideas on a couple pages back where there was that site you could pre-order the RGS why in the description it still mentioned 4 clones?

I got just one question on the side..has anybody got a picture from the "original" twilight that appears in clone wars? i can't find pictures of it anywhere and it would be nice to compare it with the lego version.

i just watched those two videos and noticed something weird...

on the second video, it shows an AT-TE getting shot and falling to the ground while trying to climb a wall.

the weird thing is that those clones around the AT-TE were walking up the wall, which was the weird part.

that gives us all new possibilities for lego moc's...

pretty sweet, i say. :vader:

They had rappel lines hooked to the wall, I think.

If you watch again, you will see that the clone troopers are attached to grappling hooks. Not really that cool or weird. They probably have them in their utility belt.

How the hell is a conceivably twenty-ton battle machine staying clamped to a wall, anyway? Was that ever explained?

The same reason why there are people with special powers and space ships and a giant death ball floationg around

Because the pilot is playing BattleFront II and is using a "climb walls" mod.

The AT-TE has four 'toes' on it's feet which can dig into surfaces. ALthough I don't think anyone's seen it done to this extreme before

I think the pic twilight is sweet. The Lego one isn't as good.

And if the price for the spider droid set hasn't been confirmed yet, I downloaded the instructions and counted the peices.

It's a little over 200, so i'm guessing 20-25 USD? If so, i'm getting two!

The RGS and AT-TE are meant to come out in August in NZ. So it only must be the U.S. that gets them on the 26th July. Oh well gives me a chance to hear other peoples opinions about the sets to see which ones are worth getting.
