RowiaBuilds Posted April 29, 2021 Posted April 29, 2021 Before starting on a pilgrimage, those of the Jade Sands must meditate before the Shrine of Calamity's End. The statue commemorates an ancient monk, who ended a great war in time immemorial. Jingu Jingu of the Jade Sands, reporting for Kaliphlin Quote
Grover Posted May 1, 2021 Posted May 1, 2021 Wow, nice job! I like the blue background, and the cohesive color scheme. The platework around the statue looks nice, and the abundance of sand green ties everything together. Creative use of the ankylosaurus babies, too. The statue is uniform enough being red... is there a reason it is red? Is that a stone color or is it painted? Very interesting with the upside down three leaf plants, too. I would not have thought of that. Well done, and I am curious to learn more! Quote

I just think red looks really good against sand green! It's supposed to have been carved from a red stone. I tried building it in black, but it doesn't photograph well. I want to make lots of ancient ruins, as the desert where parts of my storyline will take place is supposed to be one of the oldest settled places in Historica, and it's fun making things look warn down and ruined.
