GiantAmbushBeetle Posted April 23, 2021 Posted April 23, 2021 Hey! Wanted to show you my most recent creation, a 1974 Can-Am / Interseries racecar, approx 1000 bricks. Hope you like it, and as always, I appreciate constructive criticism! Can-Am was an open-top 2-seater prototype racing series from 1966-74 with very few rules, which resulted in cars that were faster, crazier and more powerful than even F1 in that era. V8s producing more than 900 BHP and cars weighing less than 650kg / 1430 lbs were the rule. (About the color choice of the windshield - those cars had windshields in all kinds of crazy colors, ranging from orange to green to even dark blue. Same with F1 in that era. Well, it was the 70's after all. ) Quote
Feuer Zug Posted June 11, 2021 Posted June 11, 2021 Nicely done. The front reminds me of the Porsche 917/10, yet the rear has a McLaren M12 vibe. Quote
danielsmocs Posted August 3, 2021 Posted August 3, 2021 Fantastic creation! These were really weird cars and I love to see them in LEGO! You shaped it perfectly and the details are great. It looks as it has workkign suspension on the rear. Or did you just use the springs for the optics? Quote
