Modular Manse

"Well," said the Canon, "it'll do." High praise, coming from him. The barracks were sturdy but comfortable, and large enough to serve the needs of a small chapter of the Knights of Hades.

This building had originally been commissioned by a Mardieran shipping company as a storage depot and local office.

When the rebellion had come, the Terraversans had belatedly noted its existence, and used it as a base for the local guard. And, when they were run out of town by Loyalists, the place stood empty.

As to where the Quiver of Artemis ended up, only a handful of souls know for sure, and they decline to share that information.

Licensed as a medium residence.

I built this block months ago, when I thought we might be allowed to keep Kingsport.

I wanted to try building a modular building. It was a lot of fun, but got progressively more fiddly as I moved further up.

Annoyingly, the rooms are far too small to properly furnish. And there's no real logic to the internal layout. That said, you can get to every area of the building from the front entrance, which makes me very happy.

Great chapter house! I love how you did the roof. The angles make it really special. Too bad it was too small for an interior. It would've really perfected the build, since the outside looks so good already!

I really love the roof, those angles with the tiles must have taken considerable work to get right - they look great! Nice work overall!

Thanks guys! The roof actually wasn't too hard. I put the long ridges in place first, and then figured which wedge plate would mesh well with it. It did involve a bit of back-and-forth, but nothing too frustrating. I probably could've mathed it all out beforehand, but I honestly prefer trial and error.

I know! Maybe if the upper floor had been a single space instead of 4 wings?

Yeah, you'd definitely have plenty of space then. But then, you'd also lose what kind of makes this building stand out. I like the 4 wings.
