Tarfful Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 (edited) All Lucas Arts gamers rejoice, four brand new game titles have been leaked according to TotalVideoGames.com and Rebelscum! There is also verification that three TFU characters will be in the upcoming game Soul Calibur IV! These are: *drum roll please* Vader, Yoda, and Vader's secret apprentice. The games that are announced are: (Note- if you are a die hard Lucas Arts fan you might want to sit down if you already aren't.) Battlefront III, Knights of the Old Republic III - said to be a Massively Multiplayer Online game, another LEGO Indiana Jones game, and The Clone Wars - a lightsaber based game for the Nintendo Wii. For more information you can go to Rebelscum or to TotalVideoGames for the full story. On another note, there is a lesson for all major video game companies/developers in this recent leak of information. And that is: never spontaneously lay-off 100 employee's who have knowledge of future products, because if you do something like this is bound to happen. Personally I can't wait for BF III, the BF series is one of my favorite video game series to date. What do you guys and gals think of this announcement/leak of information? -Tarfful Edited June 10, 2008 by Tarfful Quote
Pencoin Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 the soul calibur thing was nothing new confirmed ages ago on the only thing there that appeals to me is indy and the crystal brick Quote
trooperdavinfelth Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 Indeed; we've known about KotOR 3 and BF 3 for a long time now and the Soul Calibur news was released several months ago. I don't know much about Indy games(referencing the all out Indy game mentioned), but I can see this next Lego Indy game as the LSW 2/TCS of this franchise! And the Clone Wars is relatively new since the Indy Prima Guide was released. There's an ad for it inside the front page. But don't worry; at least the rumor of KotOR 3 and BF 3 are confirmed. Quote
Fluyt Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 And here I was, hoping for Monkey Island 5 Anyways, I think the Indiana Jones game will be great, swinging lightsabers on the wii could be a lot of fun too though. Quote
The Rancor Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 (edited) Battlefront III? WOO HOO In Soul Caliber the Star Wars characters are just secrets and must be unlocked: XBox gets Yoda (because he's green like the XBox) PS3 gets Vader ,oh yeah! (because his armour's black like the PS3 casing) Edited June 10, 2008 by The Rancor Quote
Tarfful Posted June 10, 2008 Author Posted June 10, 2008 (edited) 1) the soul calibur thing was nothing new confirmed ages ago on 2) the only thing there that appeals to me is Indy and the crystal brick 1) It was new to me, but then again I'm not a big SC fan. 2) Who said it was going to be an Lego Indy IV game, all that is confirmed so far is that there will be another; besides one whole Lego video game devoted to one movie seems like a bit of a stretch to me. 1) Indeed; we've known about KotOR 3 and BF 3 for a long time now and the Soul Caliber news was released several months ago. 2) I don't know much about Indy games(referencing the all out Indy game mentioned), but I can see this next Lego Indy game as the LSW 2/TCS of this franchise! 3) And the Clone Wars is relatively new since the Indy Prima Guide was released. There's an ad for it inside the front page. 4) But don't worry; at least the rumor of KotOR 3 and BF 3 are confirmed. 1) But those were just rumors, and this is not a rumor. 2) I don't think so as there were two LSW games before LSW:TCS, so it'll probably contain Indy IV and The Chronicles of Young Indy. 3) Yeah, I know about the product placement in the LIJ game. 4) You said above that you knew there were going to be KOTOR III and BF III, but here you state that they were just rumors. To me rumors and facts are two very different things. BF 3? does it say what game stations? jifel Nope, remember this info was leaked so don't expect anymore anytime soon, unless Lucas Arts wants to layoff more employee's that is. Anyways, I think the Indiana Jones game will be great, swinging lightsabers on the wii could be a lot of fun too though.snip Vitual lightsaber duels ON! In Soul Caliber the Star Wars characters are just secrets and must be unlocked:XBox gets Yoda (because he's green like the XBox) PS3 gets Vader ,oh yeah! (because his armour's black like the PS3 casing) Thanks for the info The Rancor it's much appreciated, also you forgot about Vader's secret apprentice. -Tarfful Edited June 10, 2008 by Tarfful Quote
Zarkan Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 Yesyesyes - Lego Indy and The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull ON! These other new games sound great too - Clone wars on the Wii is so On, as is another Battlefront and KOTOR. The secret character in Soul Calibur? Eh, I still just see this as a quick way to make cash, nothing more. Quote
Pencoin Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 dont worry about monkey island 5 madame voodoo said she had a 5 game contract Quote
Vaders_son Posted June 18, 2008 Posted June 18, 2008 Wow how could I miss this topic?! I've heard about a MMORPG KotOR III game too and I'm eager to learn more about it. I had a two weeks free SWG trial like 3 months ago and the SWG servers are pretty empty, so the only thing that makes the game worth playing a little is that it's Star Wars BF rules I just hope they bring it for the Computer this time again! And a lightsaber battle game for the Wii would be awesome - I'm so exited about the feature they build into TFU for the Wii already Thanks for the news Tarfful! Benny Quote
